Sam's Beach Bar

It's a wonderful place to enjoy of view of the Gulf of Mexico. The food was good too. The drink prices? They charged too much! Lots of Parking to the left of the place.

"LOUD" but enjoyable evening. Food was good(shrimps fantastic). A decent menu with a broad selection of drinks. Will return, maybe for lunch. Try this place, think you might enjoy "the feel of Florida".

Great location and beautiful place to watch sunsets for this area. We set and watched the fishing boats come in & go out. Some interesting boats. Check out the pics :)We really enjoyed the food, fresh oysters on the half shell to start. I had the crab leg bucket and WOW do you get a lot of crab, served with potatoes and corn as well. This meal can be shared. She had the fish sandwich and it was very good and fresh catch. The food is what you would expect from a place on the ocean fresh with lots of options. The drinks were very good as well. We watched the sunset and they had live music and dancing, lots of locals love this place, not just a tourist place. Had everything we were looking for. We will go back.

The food was really good! Pork nachos are absolutely 🔥 One of the dishes was heavy on the salt, but other than that, it was great. Solid drinks, good view, and a fun atmosphere.

This is a great place. Fresh food, their pizza is crispy and delicious. Great service.

We had burgers and fries. My husband is allergic to shelled fish so we just play it safe. It was very good but I did not like my pina colada. Warning once you get alcoholic beverages and you don't like it you still get charged for it and whatever you replace that drink with....Bummer! but it's all good

Loved the atmosphere, workers and interacting with patrons. Foods good ($$$) and up until about 2 weeks ago so was their happy hour. They've had happy hours there for decades but unexpectedly dropped it without notice. Very disheartening and disappointing. I'm hoping the patrons push back and their owner reconsiders this recent maneuver.

The food was good and views amazing! Only giving 4 stars bc we were seated (not busy at all) then watched two other tables be seated and get drinks before us when we hadn’t even met our server yet. We ask the host and he said there was a mix up and went and got her. Our server came and made sure management knew we’d been waiting and even got us a discount and had the manager talk to us which was very nice. She took VERY good care of us, refills non stop, got our food out as quick as she could and didn’t rush us to get us out of there or anything. Would definitely go again!

Fun atmosphere sitting by the water.There was a live band that was very good. The clams and fries were tasty. The server was pleasant and assertive. We had to wait for the food, related to it being very busy.

Super cool spot. A MUST SEE/DO spot when in the area. A serene but busy patio is fantastic. Great food, attentive service and great environment.

This is a typical beach bar. We would definitely go there again. While the wait staff was friendly and competent, the food service was slow. Not a problem for us. But, I did notice some patrons that had to take their food to go since they needed to be someplace. The wait was worth it. The food was very good and competively priced. Along with our main dishes we ordered a bowl of lobster bisque. It was very good and priced at $6 which is very reasonable.

Love, love, love this beach. Perfect for sunsets and rock stacking meditation. If you go on a weekend you can hear the live music from the local beach bar as well! The dance floor is wonderful too! Hope you enjoy as much as I did!

Very nice spot on the water. Our order was mixed up several times which prevents a full score but it was nice when it eventually came out correctly. Great place to watch the sun set and friendly servers.

AMAZING FOOD!!!!! They have a nice back deck where a band was playing. I had the chicken club sandwich... Amazing!!! Big brioche bun with a whole fried chicken breast seasoned to perfection, bacon, lettuce, tomatoes and half of a Haas avocado!!! The fries were cut right there ,very thick and seasoned also. So much I should have been able to take some home. But it tasted so good I could stop myself till it was all gone!!!!

Kitschy? Yes. Fun? Absolutely! Food is better than it’s given credit for with a good selection to cover most appetites. Most of the place has a pretty good viewing angle of the water but if you want to see the sun go down you might want to get there in advance as it can get crowded most nights. Two bars keep the spirits high and flowing. Good assortment of island drinks and a shockingly well stocked local craft beer selection. Lived here for over a year before we tried it as some of the locals steered us away and that’s a damn shame. Multiple visits later and have never left unsatisfied. See you up there soon :)

We walked in and sat at one of many open tables only to have the hostess come and tell us we couldn't sit there and we needed to see the hostess to be seated. So we went to the hostess station and the same girl who kicked us out proceeded to seat us at the very same table we sat at in the first place!! She embarrassed us for no reason what so ever. Our server was new and she was fantastic, and the food was good. Only other issue I had with the place is that there is no place for smokers or vapors to go with a drink so they go in the parking lot where there are no ashtrays so butts are all over the ground. They should do something for the ones who choose to smoke or vape.

First time here. Cool beach vibe. Excellent service. The shrimp po boy was great, the fried clam strips were a tad over done. Overall a nice place for a beer and good eats. I do wish their menu had a few more options such as a "fisherman's platter" with a mix of seafood.
